Charlie Kirk Mocks Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson

Charlie Kirk, a right-wing MAGA leader who dropped out of Harper Community College shortly after entering the institution to launch a career in grievance politics, recently mocked Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson as having obtained a “DEI” education and her commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Oh, but he received an honorary Doctoral degree from Liberty University. Liberty University! Let’s pause for a minute.

Justice Jackson graduated magna cum laude from Harvard, served as an editor of the Harvard Law Review, clerked for a Supreme Court Justice, and now, she is one. Her legal mind has shaped federal jurisprudence at every level, from public defender to the Supreme Court. Step by intelligent step up the ladder. She didn’t buy her grades and degrees—she earned them.

Kirk? He co-founded a political organization at 18, built a media brand on outrage, and now hosts a podcast where he critiques the very institutions he never entered. He’s never argued a case, never written a legal opinion and probably wouldn’t know one if he saw it; he’s never sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution but has challenged it—yet he feels qualified to mock someone who has done all three, and with excellence.

This isn’t about disagreement, although it is very disagreeable and wrong. It’s about disrespect. Where is the respect due to the person of the Supreme Court Justice? This is a reminder that not everyone who speaks loudly has earned the right to speak on everything.

Israel has indeed, again and again, defied all the supposedly "official humanitarian and political agencies. Sunday, Israel dropped bombs on a civilian tent city that Israel declared a safe zone for displaced Palestinians.

Now, Israeli demented "heads" try to save face because they are wary of the ICC and IJC, since its lapdog, the United States President Joe Biden, has not bribed the prosecutors into dropping the charges. This would be tragic because Israel already has the rights from the international community (rich, white people) to further its Genocide of the Palestinian People.

On February 1, Friday, Rep. Rashida Tlaib proves to have a problem with self-control and the need to be seen and heard when silence would be more appropriate for a public figure. Her response to the woman on the left, when she said “… we’re not gonna boo, we’re not gonna boo,” is a case in point. It was as if Rep. Tlaib couldn’t hold it in anymore. Rep. Tlaib shows herself as childish and a little arrogant; she does not represent the Democratic Party very well when she is too impulsive. She hurts Bernie’s message whose theme is unity. She hurts the Democratic Party in that she is emulating Trumpian tactics and tarnishing the character of the entire Party. The woman on the left, whoever she is, was a timely instigator and I think it was deliberate; further, they did not prove to have class after all - they all got a laugh after Rep. Tlaib's classless response to the word classy or class. Hilary’s name is Hilary Clinton, not ClinEN. If there were no boos before she said that, she, with common sense, should’ve left that phrase out and told us what she was about to tell us – that was totally forgotten when Rep. Tlaib broke in with a divisive statement, it was only a red herring that totally changed the subject; booing was irrelevant to the campaign topic. She never finished what she started. Rep. Tlaibn chimed in to keep it going with a happy boo. That was very unprofessional and it makes them all look unready for what they have to do. I don’t see where anyone would promote what they did on that stage unless they agree with it, such as Michael Moore, even though he walked it back in a later interview.

Rep. Tlaib should hold herself to a higher standard and avoid antics like this and apologize for it. She is a public figure and I lost a little respect for her. More than that, when she used the word “haters,” she sounded like a Conservative because they have made a senseless trope out of that word; people who disagree with each other, or a group that disagrees with another group does not merit the name “haters” because friends disagree with friends and still remain friends; parents disagree with their children and visa versa, but they lose no love for each other. The more someone uses that word the more reinforced the idea is that somebody hates somebody else. I have heard Conservatives say that and had to decide to move on and not constantly be affirming that I hate no one – Democrat or Republican. The best thing is to avoid that conversation because people have to want to change for the better; otherwise, they’d rather fight than switch. It really is an unwholesome talking point for them when emotions override the reasonable mental process; Democrats should avoid at all times sounding like Conservatives to conserve energy for legitimate talking points. I said all that to say this:

Hilary Clinton is no excuse for someone else disrespecting her. At least respect the work she has done, the hard work of promoting women, and other accomplishments that Hilary should be respected for at least. Rep. Tlaib had no right, nor does anyone else, to use what Hilary said as an excuse to attack her on Sanders’ campaign trail. She could admit all day that Hilary was wrong both personally and professionally when she said “nobody likes him” because that is only her opinion – she decided that nobody likes Bernie. Hilary, on the other hand, even though she is a private citizen now, has the task of when to discuss something and when not to, such as her podcast. The pushback against her remarks in a documentary is silly because we cannot dictate to Hilary what to say at any time and place. The responsibility is still on me to conduct myself as if I am not one of the HATERS.

I was sorry to hear Hilary say that about Bernie because that was a very hateful thing for her to say. What did Bernie do and say? Rep. Tlaib should have followed Bernie’s playbook. Bernie and Hilary really need to come to terms with what happened at the 2016 presidential campaign, that is true, but both should allow each other to forgive but not forget. I followed very closely the 2016 campaign, and Hilary tells the truth about Bernie’s group of young people who were not prepared to concede to Hilary Clinton when she won the nomination – they played by Bernie’s playbook. He kept false hope alive for too, too long, which only reinforced the young people’s insistence of a Bernie win, when they could see that all the odds were against it. However, they already knew that they would do everything they could to throw the election as retaliation against the forces that did not allow Bernie to win. Bernie knew this and smugly said he had no control or influence over the voters, but Bernie did, he just did not use that influence. We are coming up to 2020’s campaign. I know that Bernie had an epiphany somewhere over the last four years because I heard him say last week that even though he plans to be elected president, he will back whoever wins the nomination to run against Donald Trump if he is not the people’s choice after all.

Well, of course Israel prefers the U.S. preempt a strike against Iran.  Now, it looks like they have found a reason not to preempt – of course it is because Iran is afraid … and not that Israel has come to its senses because it could not bully ( the) U.S. to do its will.   In another vein, why won’t modern Israel expose its nuclear (let alone biological and chemical) weapons?  It won’t openly admit it has nukes.  Yet, common sense knows some people might reason that if the only “Anglo” nation in their midst has nuclear weapons, they should have them for “peaceful” purposes without so much threatening rhetoric.  Have any such threats  ever been leveled against Israel in its preliminary stages of acquiring nuclear weapons?  Just a thought.

Taking care of home now - it is high time, America

The end of hand-holding Iraq.  May their power to govern themselves humble the many who do not believe Iraq can do without the step-by-step guidance of the United States.  If they have not learned in nine years....  Now, let us take care of home, which drastically needs our attention.  Let us take care of our troops, who will soon flood the gates of America by 12-31-11.  Let the U.S. take real good care of its own troops who need us.  They can guard the borders to protect our children who are now being targeted by the cartels for drug distribution - and consumption (see Mexican drug cartels recruiting Texas children - Yahoo! News). Let us take care of our children and leave (trust) others to take care of theirs.

Excellent! With the help of the Iraqi government's backbone in standing its sovereign ground, the U.S. president is able to keep his "promise" to end the war in Iraq. It is way overdue. Had the 2008 agreement been continued, all the families in America would not be welcoming their loved ones home by December 31, 2011. Further, just as some of us can still remember, the Iraqis and the Muslim/Arab world remember ABU GHRAIB (among other memories); see Abu Ghraib photos at www.antiwar.com/news/?articleid=2444. That is Iraqi incentive, among others, not to yield to the U.S. demand to keep troops there under the umbrella of "immunity."


For those who blame the president for his decision (especially those in the government, military, and ex-military), be honest, which is always good.  We need to accept that Iraqis really want us out of their house, and the majority of US wants to cease US residency or occupation(?) in Iraq. The Bible warns that we (visitors, neighbors, etc.) should never overstay our welcome in another person's home.


Instead of railing against the president for doing what he had to do, go tell the Iraqi government it does not know what it is doing, and demand that it changes its mind. See how far you get with that demand.

 I wonder does that mean he would adopt all those “options” he speaks of but does not disclose, thereby preventing them from becoming another bunch of orphans.  He could start a wave - so-called pro-lifers adopting America's many "alive" children that desperately need homes and families.  Now that too is saving a child's life.  An outreach like that would be a blessing whereby many, many children would have homes, families. 

In the next breath he revelates this:  'Cain implied that abortion might be appropriate in an emergency when it would save the life of the mother. "The family is going to have to make that decision," he said.'  Well, families have been making those painfully hard choices long before he said it.
