Pentagon Group Finds There Is Minimal Risk To Lifting Gay Ban During War

Okay, that's a large majority of military people who are not horrified  about banning the atrocity (DADT).  Utter discrimination screams loudly when this country (which the present admin did not initiate) accepts military personnel who are secretly gay, yet would FIRE them if they were found out.

If PEOPLE in this country, especially those conservative thinktanks large and small, are so against enforcing gay peoples’ CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS, why allow them to serve at all.  If gays did not enlist in the military, some sector of this society, and especially the people who decry open gayness in the military, would be screaming foul, because they are not 'SERVING OUR COUNTRY."   For example, conservatism DID NOT overturn SEGREGATION of minorities from the REST of those military human beings, but fair-mindedness and broad-mindedness did.

This survey shows the MAJORITY of this Constitutional Democracy favors sexual  deviants' rights to be full CITIZENS with no qualifications but those Constitutional ones.  The opposite view is a very hypocritical stance to take.  Further, fair-mindedness is needed to accept it.  I'm for the rights of all people - THIS IS a CONSTITUTIONAL DEMOCRACY.   We really need to get past the subconscious (indeed) perception that giving humans their rights is being asked to SLEEP WITH THEM.  God told us to live the Golden Rule, he did not command us to sleep with everybody and their neighbors.  I suggest, though, that one must be sort of, well, liberal-minded for that mindset.
